Visa/Travel Information



To enter Canada, please carefully read the following information and check the links.


Most people need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada - not both. Some people may only need their valid passport. Find out if you need a visa (or eTA) to travel to Canada


Attendees are encouraged to check processing times to find out how long it takes to process most application. Each application is different and takes a different amount of time to process. If you’ve already applied, you can check your application status. Participants are encouraged to apply at least 12 weeks in advance of their departure date to ensure they receive the visa in time for the start of the event.

As you plan your travel, please also check your individual airlines to confirm any additional COVID-19 protocol for travel. Moreover, you must use ArriveCAN app to enter Canada and provide mandatory travel and public health information before and after your entry into Canada.

Banff is located in a Banff National Park. All visitors to national parks are subject to the daily admission fee to support visitor services and facilities. Below are the 2022 fees (prices are in CAD).
